Dr. Magen Luhn is a board-certified family medicine physician with specialized fellowship training in sports medicine, based in the North Houston area. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from UTHealth Houston (The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston), completed her residency in Family Medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, and pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. Dedicated to helping patients maintain an active lifestyle and reach their fitness goals, Dr. Luhn brings a personal passion for sports to her practice. A former Division I collegiate soccer player, she remains actively involved in the sport for enjoyment. In her free time, she also loves running, reading, boating, and cherishing moments with her family.

This was my first visit to a Methodist facility. My expectations were exceeded.
The appointment process was quick and accurate. There was little to no wait time before be admitted.
Dr. Luhn took the time to listen to my concerns and understand the problem. I never felt rushed.
She explained what she found in the diagnostics. (X-Rays) She offered three different treatment options and let me choose the one I felt best for me.
My recovery has been right on schedule as she predicted.

I would definitely go back to Dr. Luhn- she's great. I was visiting Houston from out of town and needed a doctor visit. I got an appointment to see Dr. Luhn within a day and though my insurance wasn't accepted (I don't live in this area), her staff understood my situation and communicated it to Dr. Luhn. She was friendly and gave me a reasonable amount of her time. Overall my visit I was treated very professionally, the medical staff were excellent and I got the help I needed.

Needed someone to do a corticosteroid injection for my SI joint asap. Was able to schedule quickly and verified that I would be able to get the injection during my initial appointment. Felt well taken care of :) Dr. Luhn also does the injections with the use of an ultrasound machine to accurately place the injection!

Awesome service, staff were helpful. The doctor was kind and excellent at explaining my X-raya findings, answering questions and her attitude: professional and friendly. I am happy with the treatment I was given. I will go back for follow up and future treatment if needed.
