Dr. James Johnson graduated from The Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2004. He completed and internship and residency in Anesthesiology at St. Luke’s Hospital through the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where he served as Chief Resident, in 2008. Dr. Johnson completed a fellowship in Pain Management at the University of California at Davis Medical Center in 2009 as the Chief Fellow. He is ABMS Board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. In addition to all injection procedures, and comprehensive pain management, Dr. Johnson performs kyphoplasty for compression fractures of the spine and is experienced in spinal cord stimulation.
He relocated to Kansas City and joined SJ Pain Associates in 2009. Dr. Johnson practices at all four hospitals covered by SJ Pain Associates.
