Dr Reeves was great. As a first time patient he took time to listen to my medical history before jumping-in on my current problem.
Oh! One more shocking surprise... Both the PA and Dr Reeves actually performed a physical exam on my affected knees. My last two physicians had me scheduled for x-rays, MRI's, and Surgery before touching my knees. It was a great experience.

More about Dr. James Reeves, MD
Dr. Reeves has been practicing orthopaedic surgery since 2008 with a focus on adult hip and knee reconstruction surgery. Originally from Clearwater, Florida, he attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree as well as his medical degree. While in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and served as President of the University of Florida chapter of the American Medical Association Medical Student Section.
After the completion of medical school, he continued his training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital where he specialized in orthopaedic surgery. While at the University, he was exposed to numerous complex cases in the various subspecialties of orthopaedics. In his spare time, he was the team physician for a local high school football team. In his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Reeves pursued a fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the renowed Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia. There, he received advanced training in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
In 2010, Dr. Reeves joined Town Center Orthopaedic Associates. His practice focuses on hip and knee reconstructive surgery. This includes primary hip and knee replacement (arthroplasty) surgery as well as complex revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He also has an interest in hip resurfacing arthroplasty and partial (unicompartmental) knee arthroplasty. In addition to patients with arthritis, he also treats patients with general orthopaedic conditions, including fractures and sports-related injuries.
Dr. Reeves’ goal is to help his patients return to the activities they enjoy. He strives for patient satisfaction and excellent outcomes.

Dr Reeves was able to describe what my issues we extremely clearly, and was the first surgeon I've come across to do so.
Telling me surgery is an option, mine is really complex and not run of the mill, and not necessary right away.
Provided me with ways to manage pain level, explained what's required in the surgery, what makes it complex, the benefits the risks. Letting me know he's there for when I decide myself that it's time. I came away informed and confident that this is who I want to help me.

One of the front desk staff members was rude. When I mistakenly said thank you for helping me with my appointment call...she was quick to tell me that she "didn't do phones".
When asking the nurse for a ladies room she snapped that I needed to wait until she got my initial information.
There was some confusion regarding additional xrays required to diagnose my problem.
I wish there was a way to separately score just the staff experience apart from the doctor's services.
