Dr. James Talbot, a West Point graduate, Vietnam veteran and Bronze Star recipient, retired from the Army with the rank of Captain. After completing his Army sevice, Dr. Talbot received his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University in 1972.
With a strong interest in the field of patient care, Dr. Talbot sought and received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1980.He completed his internal medicine residency at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and his opthalmologic training at New York Hospital / Cornell University Medical Center and at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Talbot has been in private practice for more than 30 years. He is a Fellow of the New England Opthalmologic Society, is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

His office has state of the art diagnostic equipment and his staff is very helpful and gracious.
