This was a return visit for a condition that returned two years after Dr.Tozzi peformed surgery on me for that same condition on the other side. He was very honest and thoughtful and provided me with a good explanation of potential underlying causes and treatments. He also took the time to dig up an old MRI and compare with the current one to discuss the trends and future prospects.

Awful experience. Unprofessional and disrespectful. I waited for more than 2 hours. Then, the doctor only took 3 minutes to discuss my results and completely dismissed one of my problem for which he had no interest to treat. He focused on one area he was interested to treat through surgery.
He never talked or referred me to another doctor for my other concern and pain. Shocked. i will never ever go back to him and will not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Tozzi was very pleasant and an excellent bedside manner. He was very thorough, took his time to explain everything in depth and was very understanding. He made sure I understood what he was talking about and had me to repeat back to him a summary of my visit. Not only did he review the MRI report but he actually viewed the disk and also the xray disk. No other physician I've seen other than a chiropractor has ever looked at the images. I would highly recommend Dr. Tozzi. He was definitely worth the 100 mile drive for another opinion.

To be frank, James Tozzi made my visit very uncomfortable. I found that he did not listen to me as a patient and instead judged me based on his own opinions and preconceived notions of who he thought I was. He made me second guess myself and my symptoms. Overall, I left feeling worse than when I came in.
