Dr. James “Jed” Weiss has been a psychiatrist for decades. Over the past decade, Dr. Weiss has had a special interest in the psychiatric aspects of pain medicine. He also helps with post-traumatic stress disorder, including sexual, environmental, and occupational traumas, anxiety, depression, and couples' issues. Dr. Weiss' philosophy encourages patients to develop coping skills for their challenges. He has previously worked in private practice, been a medical director of two hospitals, and has served as clinical faculty and staff at the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of California, San Francisco, and Stanford University.
