I arrived for my appointment an hour and fifteen minutes early. Not on purpose. LoL. It was during their lunch hour and I was already embarrassed I was so early and didn’t mind waiting but they took me back early andI was out earlier than my original appointment time!! As for Dr. Zelch, being my primary care physician, was very thorough and actually shows how much he cares for his patients. It’s nice to see a doctor with emotion. I’ve seen too many doctors that were like a robot not even looking you in the eyes.

I went for antidepressants, an essentially harmless frequently perscribed medication. I waited a long time in the waiting room, This guy was in and out and insisted I get all these blood tests. Guess what I already know I have excellentblood sugar, cholesterol, etc. He held my perscription which I need, on ransom unless I took the blood tests. 10 months later, Collections lawyer is pursuing me for a way overdue bill from Beaumont labs. What?! never got a bill in the first place? I think back and this is the only place I went to that took any blood for any labs. yep.

My wait time was a little over 30 minutes because there was an issue with my insurance. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the guy at the front desk. The medical assistants were amazing and great atblood draws, didn't feel a thing. The PA was very thorough and Dr. Zelch was awesome. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend anybody to make an appointment.

Rude staff at the front desk. They seem to randomly turn off the phone so they dont need to answer it. Nurse didn't seem qualified. They made me wear a hospital gown for my physical. This has never happened in mylife. Dr. seemed a little creepy. He order an MRI for my knee as I had asked. The day of the MRI comes a few weeks later and I get a call from the hospital explaining that no MRI was yet authorized by the doctor's office. I call up the office and they tell me the insurance denied coverage. I call up blue cross and they have no record of any MRI requests. I call the doctor's office again and they said I need to talk to Crystal. I eventually get her on the phone and explain the situation. She then tells me that no insurance will pay for an MRI without physical therapy. She refused to put in the MRI request with Beaumont. This sounds backwards, and Blue Cross does not agree with this statement. Due to Dr. Zelch's lazy and inept staff, I now must start the process over in order to get an MRI ordered.

I've been here a few times and thought I would write this so others can have a better idea when making a choice regarding who they wish to entrust with their care. The experience is subpar. This is not to saythat there is bad medical care or that they hand out the wrong drug. What I mean is that you will experience considerably more frustration and time wasted relative to an average medical clinic. The staff are polite but unhelpful: they will not be rude to you but at the same time you might spend a few hours waiting because they mixed the schedule, or you may have to drive half an hour to another clinic to pick up a prescription because they made a mistake on your labs. The doctor himself will spend little time with his patients and does not have very good bedside manners, to the point of being unprofessional. It's hard not to notice the indifference when interacting with the staff; this is a private clinic and it seems as though Dr Zelch is content with his current patient base so he (and by extension his staff) are not concerned with patient satisfaction. I've only stayed so far because I travel frequently and it would have been too much of a hassle to switch providers. However, this changed when I noticed a tendency to order unnecessary tests by Dr Zelch, tests which are not wrong to order, but ethically in a gray zone. What I mean is that when a physician orders a test, she/he needs to compare the cst of the test to the potential value of information it provides. When a test is ordered even though the physician already knows the results, all that does is leave the patient with a bill, even though that test has no effect on their care. This is a very basic tenet of healthcare which is lacking at this clinic. I'm not saying that there's something terrible going on here, I'm just saying that when you are choosing a provider, you may want to consider other options.

The staff was very unprofessional and rude. I was told to have my kids picked up and or I had to reset my appointment due to a physical being mandatory and then sat naked in a paper gown and was neverlooked at simply spoke to from across the room. The doctor made jokes about how he wouldn't be able to figure out what was wrong with me and then simply tried to prescribe me 5 medications for depression, anxiety, and muscle relaxers??!! I then was escorted to a counter to receive a plastic drinking cup with my name written on it for a urine sample and then when done was Rudely told to place my OPEN cup next to the 7 others on the counter that were simply being contaminated by the air and everything in it. Oh and did blood work I see for a drug abuse screen yet prescribed me controlled substances lmao that I said I wouldn't take and never have. Then after waiting 30 minutes in the lobby to "check out" which was nothing just a visit summary I had to pay $30 for being 15 mins late in the beginning for my daughters appt and I was to follow and she never even was seen.

I have been seeing this physician for over a year. He is rude and short (he does not even look at you). It seems like they are just in it for the money. Staff and quality of care are the worstI have ever experienced (I work for a physician). I will never go there again!

I thought the staff was excellent! I thought i was gonna have to reschedule for issues with my insurance, thankfully they were able to keep my appointment. The nurse who did my EKG was very friendly. Dr Zelch himself was veryprofessional and listened to my concerns and made sure I was prescribed the appropriate medications. Definitely keeping him as my pcp.

The waiting room is like a sauna and smells horrible! It's not clean at all. The receptionist is a joke has 3 or 4 cell phones in front of him and taking calls on all of them. Opens the drawer toget me some paper work and there's s half eating McDonald's sandwich laying there in the same drawer is the paperwork they are handing out to people. Also the place is run down. I come here for a ear infection. So I get called back. And I tell him what's wrong. And the nurse (male) nice guy As I'm sure he's just following doctors orders. Wants to check my sugar. Wants to take blood from me. Wants me to pee in s cup. And wants me to get undressed from the neck down and put a gown on! For a ear infection??? I refused everything except check my sugar. Told them I had to leave. Got my insurance cards and left. Called my insurance company and told them what a joke this place was and what they wanted to do. They made note of it if they Bill me for other than what was done. This place is a disappointment! Plus I tried to call this place for 3 days and got a recording about how they were experiencing high call volume and to try back later. Lie!!

Doctor and staff all made me feel comfortable and kept me at ease. All of my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction. I was really disappointed with the waiting room, and the length of time I waited for my appointment. Thewaiting room is so small, you have no choice but to sit close enough to be able to smell the person next to you, and I had to wait more than an hour after my appointment time. I've waited longer for doctors who don't give a shit, so I still recommend him. Just be prepared for a long wait.
