As a Board Certified Family Practice and Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician, it is my goal to promote health, fitness, and happiness. I believe that through prevention, proper education, and exercise, many diseases can be prevented. I treat all ages, from infants to the elderly, as well as all types of illnesses and injuries. I like to find creative ways to keep athletes active while undergoing rehabilitation. I love taking care of entire families and multiple generations. I strive to lead and empower my patients in a direction toward a healthier life. I recently returned to my hometown of Bloomfield Hills to be closer to family, now that I have a family of my own. I attended the University of Michigan for my undergraduate education, earning a degree in History of Art and played on the U of M Women's Club Soccer team. I continued my education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for Medical School and attended residency in Chicago at Resurrection Medical Center. I was Chief Resident my final year. I then returned to Michigan State University to pursue a Sports Medicine Fellowship and learned non-operative care for musculoskeletal problems as well as treatment for other sports issues such as concussions, exercise induced asthma and cardiac screening. I then entered private practice where I spent three years, and became a partner, in a large multi-specialty group in Naperville, IL. Since then I have returned home, and am happy to serve the community where I grew up. I am ecstatic to have joined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics of Bloomfield. It is a well-known physician group in the Oakland County community that specializes in treating adults and children of all ages. Our staff and doctors are very friendly and provide a personal touch with every patient they encounter. Dr. Steve Kallabat M.D and Dr. Azrael Paredes M.D. have welcomed me into a wonderful environment that they have created. We have on-site lab, XRAY, EKG, spirometry, and provide a variety of procedures including joint injections, skin biopsies, wart treatment, skin sutures, among others. We are up to date on all of the most recently authored guidelines and practices. We offer extended hours on weekdays as well as hours on Saturday. Additionally, we are all on Staff at Beaumont, Royal Oak. We look forward to seeing you soon!
