Dr. Davison has always had a path leading towards healthcare, specifically Optometry. As an adolescent, in her home town of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Davison had her annual eye exams with her optometrist. It was from these exams that Dr Davison’s pursuit of Optometry was born. Her doctor always expressed that optometry was a constantly advancing field of healthcare. With this in mind, during her sophomore year in college, Dr. Davison decided that she wanted to pursue a career in Optometry.
Dr. Davison has been practicing optometry for five years in the metro Atlanta area. A dedicated member of the Georgia Optometric Association, she spent two years working full time as an independent contractor and one year in a corporate setting. Specifically, her experience as an independent contractor allowed her to practice in various optometry settings. From these experiences both in private and corporate practices, she has a diverse outlook on treating various eye conditions. She is very experienced in complex clinical patient care. Dr. Davison is also very proficient in prescribing eyeglasses, contact lens and treating complex anterior segment diseases.
Outside of work, Dr. Davison is married with a son. Dr. Davison is very involved in several philanthropic and entrepreneurial activities as well as professional organizations. Her goal as an optometrist is to educate patients about the importance of excellent eye health, and to encourage her patients to obtain yearly eye exams to ensure that he/she has “healthy eyes for a healthy life.” Dr. Davison’s professionalism and dedication are the core qualities that establishes Brilliant Eyes Vision Center among the elite Marietta eye clinics.
