About Dr. Aldina Jakupovic
Dr. Jakupovic, after starting out as an optometric technician, has years of experience in the Optometric world. She majored in Biology while attending Georgia State University. Dr. Jakupovic received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry in 2017. While in optometry school, she was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and received clinical honors in primary eye care. She completed her internship training at the Birmingham VA in Birmingham, AL, Gainesville Eye Associates in Gainesville, GA, and Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, GA.
In addition to providing complete ocular health examinations and contact lens fittings, Dr. Jakupovic manages a wide variety of ocular diseases including uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and keratoconus. Dr. Jakupovic has a special interest in specialty contact lens fittings for Keratoconus and corneal transplant patients.
In her free time, Dr. Jakupovic loves to spend time with her husband and family. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and swimming.

Very friendly staff (even the ones who I only saw in passing and didn't really have direct contact with), nice and clean office, very short wait time (I got there 15 minutes early, filled out my new patient information forms, and was seen right away by the time my actual appointment was scheduled for), free parking in the convenient covered parking garage, and Dr. Jakupovic was great! I have a check-up appointment scheduled in a month with her and I'll continue to come here if I ever need anything in the future.
Also, after easily booking the appointment online, the office called me shortly after to speak to me for a few minutes and listen to what I had going on, find an even better appointment time for me, and was very nice even before being seen. I actually canceled an appointment somewhere else because of how impressed I was with them (and how oppositely unimpressed I was with the other place).

10/10 would recommend. The staff was friendly and efficient. Everyone acknowledged me as i walked by. They explained every part of the process and took the time to answer all of my questions! I felt very computable and informed when i left my appointment ! They run a VERY well oiled business and provide a top tier level of care and service! I WILL be returning for my future checkups!
