Janet Reiser is an accomplished and caring gastroenterologist treating patients in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Reiser is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to practice gastroenterology. Dr. Reiser attended the Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she earned her medical degree. She proceeded to complete her residency at the University California at San Diego. Dr. Reiser completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at the Bronx VA and Mount Sinai Hospital. They asked me to take the Breath Test again at Sonora Quest Lab after medication. But they did not send a note to them so I could not have a test. So I called them; I was told that I would have to wait for 2 weeks to take a test and they're gonna send a note by then. So I waited and went to the lab again after two weeks. They still do not have a note. I wasted my time twice for nothing. I called them and now they told me I have to wait for 3 weeks. Sounds like they did not take it seriously. Very Unprofessional. I am done with them.

Dr. Reiser took all of the information from my records in stride and seems to have some thoughts about what it is that is wrong with me. I have seen quite a few health care professionals, and I am quite impressed with Dr. Reiser's ability to take in all the information I had and come up with some ideas.

Dr. Reiser was abrasive, abrupt, cold, and dismissive. While I understand she came relatively highly recommended, I had to seek help elsewhere for my problem, which was diagnosed and has since been remedied.

This was just an initial visit but I think it went as well as I expected. It was more of a consultation to see if a breathing issue I am having may be related to GERD. The doctor told me she could do an endoscopy, but she did not think it would be beneficial at this point as I was not showing any of the major signs of GERD. I appreciated that she was not pushing any unnecessary, costly tests. This was only one visit and not enough information to give a full review of this doctor, but so far I think she did a very good job.

Dr. Reiser is an excellent doctor. She is very knowledgeable in her specialty field of gastroenterology. She educates and offers suggestions for treatments but leaves it up to the patient to make the decision on whether to proceed or not. I liked her bedside manner--very important as she treated me with compassion and had a lot of empathy. I will be returning to see her for now on.
