I came in for a full physical. Prior to my apointment I received an e-mail from the staff asking me to fill in all the forms ahead of time. I brought them in and the front desk staff took them ostensibly to fill in my records in their system.
I was taken back by a nurse right on the dot of my (0830) appointment time. Blood pressure, height/weight, etc. Then shown to the exam room. The Nurse then began filling in the electronic record for me, asking me all of the questions that I'd already filled in on the form. I let her know I had all that information on the forms with the front desk; she had to retrieve the forms and then just poke all the information in. Kind of annoying (seriously, why don't medical offices let me fill in these forms online and have it auto populate into their database...it's bloody 2018?). But nonetheless it was quick.
Dr. Dumlao can in about 5 minutes after I was asked to change into the gown. Her bedside manner was really good with one exception. As she was talking "to" me; she was constantly looking at the computer screen. Asking the routine smoking/drinking/exercise/diet/etc questions; she was friendly; but seemed more interested in the data entry task than the actual conversation/interaction.
When it came to the physical examination; she was professional, friendly, and thorough.
All in all, I would highly recommend her and her practice to anyone looking for a Primary Care physician.

I thought Dr. Umayam was very efficient but never felt rushed. This was my first appointment with her. She answered all of my questions and had the nurse run my blood tests and give me my vaccinations needed. My case was somewhat complicated and she followed up with information for me on a phone call later that day. I was very pleased with my decision to book an appointment with her and look forward to a Dr./patient relationship in future.
