Dr. Saltiel earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his internal medicine residency at NYU Langone Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Fellow.
He has published extensively and presented nationally on topics including colorectal cancer screening, hepatitis C treatment, and the management of gastrointestinal foreign bodies. Known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach, Dr. Saltiel combines the latest evidence-based medicine and technology to deliver personalized care and build long-term relationships with his patients.
Dr. Saltiel offers weekend appointments for endoscopies and colonoscopies.

This visit went very well. The staff were so nice and friendly, the place was so clean. Dr. Saltiel was very nice, sympathetic towards the issues I have been experiencing. He asked me many questions to figure out and have an idea what is going on with my pains and issues. He offered me multiple options to choose regarding one of the issues I have been having, as a starter and also took my bloodwork to see what is going on. Very nice and prepared. Felt very comfortable.
