“My experience was good however I wasn’t fond of the front desk. The front desk desk seems to have a little bit of an attitude, especially when I was leaving and I said bye, and she just rolled her eyes and said nothing. The front desk staff needs to be trained on how to deal with people of different walks of life and to be friendly towards them and not just some we are all people, and we all deserve to be treated or respect the front desk. Staff was not very friendly, but everybody else was.”

Veronika V. Dubrovskaya, M.D., is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She received her BA from the University of California, San Diego, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. She completed her residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and her gastroenterology fellowship training at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in 2008. During her fellowship, she sought additional training in hepatology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
After completing her training, Dr. Dubrovskaya became an Assistant Professor of Medicine and the Director of Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She also headed an esophageal and anorectal motility clinic during her five years there. From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Dubrovskaya served as the program director of the gastroenterology fellowship program at SUNY Downstate.
Dr. Dubrovskaya is a member of ASGE, ACG, AGA, AASLD, NYSGE, and ANMS. Her clinical interests span the entire breadth of gastroenterology and endoscopy, with a particular emphasis on the treatment of hepatitis and other liver disorders. She has a special interest in motility disorders and performs both esophageal and anorectal manometry. Dr. Dubrovskaya is fluent in Russian and Spanish.
