I waited for more than two hours due to a prior procedure going long, but Dr. Motola was very gracious andhumble and apologized profusely. His amicable style and demure bedside manner made the long wait forgivable. Look forward to future visits with him.

Dr. Motola is fine - seems to know his stuff and asks good questions. As you can see in other reviews, the wait time here can be LONG and they do not update you in any way. I had to go to the desk after an hour to see if I fell off the list somehow. There was more waiting in the exam room. Leave plenty of time if you plan to see Dr. Motola.

I scheduled to come see Dr. Motola going outside of my own healthcare system to have what could be a serious medical issue examined. I came in, filled out my paperwork and was escorted to the exam room. After the assistanttook my vitals, she said the doctor was a little behind but would be in to see me in about 15 minutes. 30 minutes later no one had come in to give me an update. I came out of exam room and the assistant said I was the next to be seen and the doctor was finishing up with someone else. 25 minutes after that I came out of the exam room again and the assistant said he was finishing up with someone else and another patient was before me. I can not believe this is how an experienced doctor runs his practice at Mount Sinai. I will go back to NYU to receive proper care and attention.

Dr. Motola is great. No nonsense, knows what’s up, and can put me at ease. Also Shannon in his staff helped me out before the doctor came in, and she was just so nice! There’s nowhere to review the doctor’s staffhere, so I just wanted to give her a shout out.
