I like the personal contact with her office staff and the Doctor herself. She follows a whole body approach to healing, which I find comforting. Small office setting.

I loved her, for us girls to our yearly check up is very difficult, but Dr Chasmawala was very patient, quick, and gental.

This is a very unprofessional office. Avoid using this doctor if possible. They never answer their phones.

Front desk personnel looked sleepy, lol, not very friendly. Doctor much friendlier, more personable. I'm not certain I'll return, but not the worst experience. Long wait even though I was the only patient the entire time I was there, both in the waiting area and in the office. Eh.

Do not ever go to her!!! She told me it would take 48hours for my test result, never got back to me, tried to call all day no response. Ended up in the ER a day later, and admitted in to the hospital. When we finally got a hold of her she said she "does not doctor on the weekends". Never go to her!

Instead of really listening to my valid concerns Dr. C kept pushing her supplements which she sells on the side for a company....
Won't be seeing her again.

She is an excellent doctor with some very good insights into a persons health conditions and my time with her was very rewarding.

The wait was not long since I was the only person there however there was no one at the front desk for at least 20 min and I started to wonder if anybody was even in the office at all. I rang the bell 3 times and even called the office while waiting. Finally after about 20 min the front desk lady showed up and also ended up doing about 90% of the work required for my visit. In the end I finally saw the doctor which went well but I don't know if I will go back as the environment felt almost too relaxed for my personal taste.

I don't agree with the past comments, her staff was wonderful and I was seen right away. The office is in a great facility. Just because it's not brand new doesn't mean it's not clean. I can see how she's not for everyone. You would need to be open about hearing her point of view when meeting with her. She believes in a holistic, natural approach in regards to medicine. She's focused on preventative medicine, meaning preventing diseases from happening to you. While I don't practice a vegan lifestyle I do eat very clean and healthy. I haven't always been this way. I became this way because I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in 2009. I use to think vegans and natural doctors were nuts. I did a lot of personal research after the MD medical community couldn't help me, I changed my diet, I started yoga. And guess what? I got better, I'm not 100% but I'll tell you what, I'm not depressed, I lost weight and my mind is clearer. So if you're going to go to see Dr Chasmawala, please go with an open mind. You never know, just taking one piece of information and applying it to your daily life can change everything.

This was my very first appointment with Dr. Chasmawala, and I don't think she's what I'm looking for. She didn't seem very concerned about the issue I came to talk to her about ,and seemed more interested in getting the copay, and offering me vaccinations that I didn't ask for. She was polite, but not very helpful. I think I'll look for a different primary care provider.

First visit with Dr Chasmawala, big disappointment. As a few other reviewers observed, she was more concerned with booking multiple appointments to speak about each question or issue I was having. She is not very polite or welcoming. i tried to tell her about pain I was experiencing but she was very concerned with selling me a supplement. She actually spent several minutes repeating why I should buy the supplement, although lab results had not been returned. After marketing products she then asked me if I had any physical cocerns. I told her of one issue and then she quickly interrupted and told me, I needed to schedule another appointment because that was going beyond the physical. She is interested in selling her products and how many times she can be paid from my insurance. It was the most incomplete physical I ever had. She did not exam me thoroughly, for example when she checked my lungs, she put stethoscope on my sweater! I still had on street clothes and not a gown! I will be transferring my record and lab results to another provider.

I was pleased with my appointment. Dr. Chasmawala gave me good suggestions on how to solve my immediate problem and also discussed with me how to handle long term needs so they don't become long term problems. I was very satisfied.

After seeing so many positive reviews, I was optimistic about my visit with Dr. Chasmawala. Unfortunately, I had an absolutely awful experience with her and will not be returning. It was my first time visiting her and I was there for my annual exam.
I brought up some information about a chronic skin condition that I have. I have taken the same medication for this condition for years, and my previous general practitioner had no problem refilling my prescription. Dr. Chasmawala refused to discuss this issue or refill my prescription and told me that I needed to schedule a separate appointment to discuss my skin. I was frustrated because there has been no change in my condition, the medication that I take is not a controlled substance and has very few side effects. Honestly, it seemed like she was simply trying to make money and exploit me by requiring an extra (unnecessary) appointment.
Dr. Chasmawala did not have time to have a short discussion of my skin condition, but she did have time to try to convince me that I should cut animal products out of my diet. I explained that a vegan, or even vegetarian diet was not something that I was interested in, but she continued to bring it up and basically argued with me. She also spent a long time talking to me about basics of diet and exercise that I already was very familiar with. Here's the crazy part: I'm not even overweight! My BMI may be at the high end of the "healthy" range, but it's still in the healthy range! There was nothing about my appointment that made me understand why she was pushing her dietary views on me. I felt that Dr. Chasmawala had her own agenda with my appointment, and I felt very uncomfortable with the whole conversation. I'm young and in relatively good shape and am not overweight, but she made me feel really bad about myself and my diet. The research on vegan/vegetarian diets is NOT conclusive, and the low-protein diet she recommended is not something I need or am interested in.
Finally, my experience with her during my pap exam was awful. First, she did not let me know that her assistant would be joining her, and I was uncomfortable with two people staring at that part of my body when I wasn't expecting it. It was an uncomfortable situation, and in the past my doctor has done the pap herself. She was not very kind or gentle with the process, and it was easily the worst/most painful pap I've had (and I've gotten around 7 or 8 in the past). I was clearly upset and uncomfortable with the situation, and after she roughly got the sample she needed, she immediately left the room without saying a word to me.
I would absolutely NOT recommend this woman.

I like that she focuses on and cares about the overall health of her patients, and not just medicating them. Dr. Chasmawala really focused on healthy habits and used scientific research to back up her arguments. She was very thorough and did not make me feel at all rushed.
