Prior to joining Einstein, Dr. Ford was the Chair of the Department of Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Oncology and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University. Before that, Dr. Ford was the Florence Irving Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University in New York City, and Founder and Director of The Harlem Lung Center where he conducted extensive research on risk factors associated with lung cancer and asthma.
