After graduating summa cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from Houston Baptist University, Dr. Ghosn completed his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. He then completed his family medicine residency at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston. Dr. Ghosn was inspired to become a physician when his grandfather traveled from Lebanon to have heart surgery in Houston. He realized his grandfather would not be here, had he not received extraordinary care from the physician who treated him. This inspired him to pursue a role where he would be able to provide that same opportunity for other families.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Ghosn is dedicated to caring for and treating the whole family, from pediatric to adult and geriatric patients. He can treat and manage acute and chronic conditions, including wellness visits, physicals, common infections, diabetes, and hypertension. Dr. Ghosn’s primary clinical interest is preventive medicine, such as obesity management and vaccine administration.
He is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Chi Honors Society, and the American Association for Cancer Research. He is also fluent in Arabic and French and knowledgeable in Spanish.
Dr. Ghosn’s goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for whatever condition his patients have. He prides himself in being caring, thorough, and responsive while ensuring his patients understand their illnesses and the necessary steps to manage them.
In his spare time, he enjoys running half marathons, traveling, and playing table tennis.
