I am an NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist in practice in New York City since 2004.
Postgraduate studies include certification in Zheng Gu Tui Na - a Chinese bodywork modality which treats traumatic injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and internal conditions. I am certified by Sloan Kettering Hospital for acupuncture as a complementary therapy for cancer patients. Currently, I am in a course of study with Gary Strauss, a Master Practitioner of Polarity Therapy and CranioSacral Unwinding.
Through my experience in community activism, volunteer work & travel, I have learned that the holistic philosophy of Chinese medicine transcends cultural boundaries.
My Chinese medicine practice is inspired by memories of my great grandmother who led a holistic life as a farmer, entrepreneur, caretaker, and community activist. I offer this point of view to my patients as a model of balanced living and aspire to achieve this kind of authenticity in my own life.

I have been going to Jeanne for a while now. She is a true practioner of traditional chinese medicine, and a top notch Herbalist. She embodies the essence of a full "MIND/BODY/SOUL" approach. She addresses & treats you with this unified approach while caring deeply for you as a human being. I have never had anything but success when it comes to her treatments, and I always leave feeling wonderfully relaxed. Jeanne is a real healer.
