Born and raised in New York, he came to Chicago with his family after completing high school. Upon graduation from Yale University, he attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania.
Following his training as a dermatology resident at Boston University, he returned to the Chicago area in 1993 to begin his practice. His areas of special interest include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, laser therapies and cosmetic dermatology.
