Jeffrey Okun is a concerned and caring gastroenterologist serving the community of Clifton, NJ. Dr. Okun attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. He completed his residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center. He continued his training by completing a fellowship in gastroenterology at Montefiore Medical Center. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
Dr. Okun is a part of Summit Medical Group. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Medical Association.

I think Dr. Okun goes above and beyond for his patients and, in a world of efficiency and rapid - fire appts. and byzantine insurance rules, Dr. Okun is a singular physician who is able to transcend the formalities and truly be an empathetic communicator and healer. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
