When you’re being cared for by a highly trained and experienced medical professional, you can rest assured that you’re in the best of hands. Dr. Rich has medical credentials that inspire confidence. In addition to being a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, he’s had fellowship training in total joint replacement and is the first in the area to perform computer-assisted knee and hip replacements and partial joint replacements.
I have always enjoyed working with sports injuries. Once I got into residency, I found that I also liked doing hip and knee replacements, as well. I find it very rewarding to use today’s technology and treatment techniques to help so many people of all ages lead more comfortable and fulfilling lives.
My practice has become known as a center of excellence for total hip and knee joint replacements, partial knee replacements, minimally invasive surgical techniques, sports medicine and age-related conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis.
I also focus on nonsurgical care for musculoskeletal diseases and orthopedic injuries, and empowering patients to make their own decisions regarding their treatment. I enjoy spending time with patients, too. In his spare time, Dr. Rich likes the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, tennis and basketball.
