I love the staff- very kind, but they seem really disorganized.
I was not sick. I came in for a physical in May and only needed 2 tests to finish out some paperwork for an adoption home study that I dropped off at the office for their review a month prior.
It was known I needed a 10-panel drug screen and a TB test. I didn't get the drug screen pee cup or the TB injection until I'd been in the building 90 minutes. This should have taken 20, MAX.
After I was there for 60 minutes I began expressing anxiety over needing to leave soon to prepare for an appointment I had with a client 1 hour later. I needed to physically prepare (I was not dressed appropriately) and also needed to make it there.
I was not left with enough time to make this happen and had to ask the client to meet via phone instead. The client was angry and canceled the appointment.
IF the office staff had been more on top of it, that would not have happened.
All that said in their defense, I did ask for a same-day appointment that morning. I would not have made it then but was told it should not take long since I only needed the 2 tests. When I made the appointment I said "I have a client session at 4 pm that I'll need to go prepare for" and I was told that it would be fast in and out because I didn't really need to get the checkup portion of anything... I'd already had my physical.
