Dr. Jenifer Nguyen grew up in Sugar Land, TX and earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor on the faculty at the University of Houston, College of Optometry Eye Institute and mentors student externs in their final year of an eight year Optometric education.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of the optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa, the American Optometric Association, and the Texas Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Dr. Nguyen is trained in the care of the pre-operative and post-operative management of cataract and refractive surgery patients and performs minor in-office eye surgery. She has received extensive training in the detection, management, and prescribing medications in the treatment of ocular diseases. In addition to providing eye care to adults, her special interests are children’s vision and hard to fit contact lens patients.

Everyone was friendly and nice and the office was clean. Dr Jen was easy going and nice and explained everything in a easy to follow manner. The lady who helped me with the frames was an absolute delight and made me feel at ease. I absolutely loved my visit and will definitely go back.

I was impressed by the level of safety measures in place during the pandemic. Dr. Nguyen is very friendly, and even gave me a coupon for special eye drops when I mentioned offhand that I have bad allergies. All the other employees were very kind and easy to talk to as well.

I really loved my experience at this office. Everyone was so incredibly friendly. Dr. Nguyen was so friendly and knowledgable. I actually had another doctor do the majority of my exam (Dr. Alex?), and he was so great about answering all of my questions. I never felt like I was in any rush. I was also out of contacts, so they gave me some sample ones to tide me over until new ones came in. Super class I picked this office.

My experience here was wonderful! Jahara was so pleasant and professional as she walked me through the initial phases of the appointment before Dr Nguyen came in to see me.
Dr Nguyen herself was also a delight. Very easy to talk to and took her time through out the appointment.
The office was clean and pleasant. I’d recommend this office to a friend.
