About Dr. Tyler Zellers
Dr. Zellers is a certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. Originally from Amarillo, TX, he studied Molecular Biology and Human Physiology at West Texas A&M, where he earned academic honors including Alpha Chi and Beta Sigma Gamma. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he was active in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Since 2013, Dr. Zellers has been serving the DFW area, passionately helping people with their visual and health needs. He is enthusiastic about staying current with the latest technology for diagnosing and treating various eye disorders, specialty contact lens fitting, and surgical co-management.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Zellers enjoys spending time with his wife, Jacquelyn, who is also an optometrist, and their son Evan. He likes hiking outdoors with their two dogs, Penny and Luna, exploring interesting foods, and traveling to experience different world cultures.

I had a really great experience at this optometrist's office. From the moment I walked in, the doctor was welcoming and kind, which immediately put me at ease—especially after feeling very uncomfortable at my last optometrist. He took the time to ask if I had any questions, and when I did, he answered every single one thoroughly. He explained things in a way that was clear and easy to understand, which I really appreciated.
The girl who did my eye scans was also amazing—she was super kind, patient, and helped calm my nerves. Her gentle approach made a big difference and really added to the overall positive experience.
It was such a relief to feel comfortable and cared for during my appointment. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Dr Tyler Zellers, he was very nice and patient during my exam. He answered all the questions I had. He made me feel comfortable as it was my first time there.
His staff was attentive and kind. Their office was very nicely decorated and clean. Parking was really easy as they had some upfront and more within a 2 min walk to the parking garage.

I’ve been in Dallas for almost 7 years and I’ve been to 6 different optometrist. This is the first one I will GLADLY return to. He is very detailed and has amazing bedside manner. The office was busy, but even then the appointment didn’t feel rushed. They also didn’t pester me about buying anything at checkout. I was very impressed and I’m glad I finally found someone I can trust.

Dr. Zeller was wonderful! He was so friendly and helpful. I came in with an eye infection, and he was very knowledgeable and calm about it all. The technician was also very friendly. Overall, great experience. The only negative was the front desk staff. They don’t seem to answer the phone, and they weren’t super helpful with my insurance questions. I did not feel welcome by them.
