Jenna-Ann's interest in nutrition started at a young age when she was in dance school; she learned early on that good nutrition will fuel your body to perform at its best. She also became interested in the field of diabetes care and education when her father was diagnosed with T2 DM and minimal resources were available for proper management. Jenna-Ann's training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease including Hypertension and Hyperlipidemia, GI issues and disease prevention/wellness. Jenna-Ann has additional passion for the areas of performance nutrition, weight management, mindful eating and general wellness as she loves to see the positive effects that come with taking care of and nourishing our bodies correctly. Jenna-Ann believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. They feel that health is wealth- you should always treat your body like it belongs to someone you love!
Jenna-Ann graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from CUNY Hunter College and completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from CUNY Brooklyn College. Jenna-Ann loves to celebrate her Italian- American heritage, is an avid Peloton user; enjoys traveling with her husband Joseph, and loves spending time with her family and dog, Maximus.
