I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited graduate program at Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University. I also completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Santa Clara University.
I have been providing mental health and therapeutic services for over 7 years and have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life, but have a strong passion for working with children and teens. My pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training was centered on providing mental health services to children and families. Throughout my experience, I’ve provided psychotherapy and assessment services in school-based, community mental health, and clinic settings.
I find value in providing each child and teen with a safe and supportive environment to explore their concerns while building a strong relationship both individually and with his/her/their family. I believe that each child is unique and multifaceted, therefore my approach is flexible and allows children and teens, along with their families, to have goals adapted to their specific needs or situation. My integrated treatment approach and emphasis on collaborating and developing a strong therapeutic relationship extends to adults experiencing life challenges and stressors as well. I specialize in working with people experiencing a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, life stress, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), adjustment and behavioral concerns.
