I thought that Dr. Ahdout was really great. The thing that was very disappointing was my waiting time, I arrived long before my appointment time but still sat & waited while others that arrived well after I did were seen right away.

Dr. Jennifer Ahdout is a board certified Dermatologist and the Director of Dermatology, Laser and Skin Care at Spalding Plastic Surgery & Dermatology of Beverly Hills.
Dr. Ahdout graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelors of science in Psychobiology. She obtained her medical degree from UCLA with a specialization in the care of underserved communities. Dr. Ahdout graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, the highest level of recognition for excellence in scholarship and ideals in the profession of medicine.
She has received a number of accolades including the American Medical Woman’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Excellence, the UCLA Chancellor’s Service Award as well as scholarships including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Scholarship and the North American Hair Research Scholarship. Dr. Ahdout’s greatest contribution to the community at large is her leadership role in the establishment of a free Dermatology Clinic in Orange County to serve the needs of the uninsured population.
Following an internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in preliminary medicine, Dr. Ahdout completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine where she served as the chief of volunteer and satellite clinics.
Dr. Ahdout has conducted research on psoriasis, including the modifiable lifestyle factors associated with metabolic syndrome in this population. She has co-authored a noteworthy paper in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology on the pivotal role of topical and oral vitamins in photoaging. She also has an interest in hair loss and has authored a paper on a unique pattern of alopecia related to hair styling practices as well as a hair chapter in a prominent Dermatology text.
Her clinical interests include the management of a variety of complex medical Dermatology cases. Dr. Adhout has trained with experts in melanoma screening and has diagnosed and treated numerous skin cancers. She also enjoys the personalized art of facial enhancement and rejuvenation using a variety of modalities including injectables and laser resurfacing procedures to enable a patient to become the best version of themselves.
