I am a compassionate, Board Certified Adult psychiatrist with experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
I feel lucky to be able to work collaboratively with individuals facing unique and complex challenges at all stages of life. I believe in empowering patients to take an active role in their care, and feel that this can help us work together to achieve the most positive possible outcomes. I provide comprehensive assessments, taking into account all aspects of patients’ lives, and provide both medication management and psychotherapy, or a combination of the two as appropriate. I have experience treating a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, and OCD. Being a mom to three young children myself, I hold a special interest in women’s mental health, including issues surrounding the prenatal and postnatal periods as well as infertility. I also have experience treating eating disorders and issues surrounding young adulthood and student mental health.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in anthropology at U.C. Berkeley, and went on to attend medical school at U.C. Irvine. My residency was done at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, where I served as chief resident during my final year of training.
