I am a graduate of the Biomedical Sciences program when was a joint venture between UC Riverside and UC Los Angeles (before UC Riverside opened their own medical school). I am certified in Family Medicine and attended internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and then Kaiser-Sunset in Los Angeles. The city of Orange is my hometown where my parents still reside. Family Medicine is rather an extension of my personality in that I know a little bit about a lot of things. My father was trained as an electrical engineer, but is rather the Chinese “McGyver” who can fix just about anything. So, as the middle of 5 children, we all learned to take initiative to figure things out. I have a keen memory, which I attribute to my mother who has the memory of an elephant. She even remembers the birthdays of my friends!
