Dr. Jenny Bartov completed her undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College as part of a seven-year joint degree program with the SUNY College of Optometry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Philosophy and the Arts. She combined her love of art and curiosity for how we see the world by conducting research on color and shadows during her time at SUNY. She graduated with a Masters in Vision Science and a Doctorate in Optometry in 2016.
Dr. Bartov’s clinical experience includes vision therapy and ocular disease management at the University Eye Center, as well as an externship in low vision at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Haven, CT - helping patients of hereditary or degenerative eye diseases and post-traumatic brain injury best utilize their remaining vision. She also has extensive experience in pediatric eye care, having worked as a traveling optometrist to different schools and catered to a plethora of children at private practices. She provides thorough glasses and contact lens fittings as well as preventative care, dry eye, glaucoma, and myopia control management.
She fervently believes in enhancing one’s quality of life so she likes to explore eclectic routes of treatment and optimal living circumstances, ranging from light composition to ergonomics. She likes puzzles so she looks forward to tackling challenging cases that come her way
