The doctor is very patient and thorough, and answered all my questions concerning my medication.
He was terrible. He was mad bc I didn't take a med he prescribed bc of the terrible side effects. He asked me what I wanted him to do about my situation when he is the Dr. He wouldn't let me speak and kept interrupting me when I was talking. I told him Im leaving bc I wont be talked to that way and he said ok bye and was laughing. I walked out of there crying bc of that terrible man.
It was ok and productive
He was quite impatient seemed uninterested in my condition. Even a little irritated that I was seeking care. Cut me off during conversation. I was very frustrated when I left.
I felt I got no help with my pain for trigeminal neuralgia. I was given a follow-up appointment in October which I have cancelled. I lived with the pain for the last several years and will continue.
It was the worst appt. I've ever been to. Not only did he make me feel as though he believed I was trying to fake the condition I was there to see him for, but also as if I were trying to run some scheme to defraud his office in an attempt to obtain medications for some other purpose than my own treatment. I have never been so embarrassed and angry at the same time in my whole life. It took a lot of effort and motivation on my part to seek out a new Dr, because mine retired several years ago and I have not had a true specialist since. My primary care physician prescribed my meds because I was on the same ones for over 15 years. I had become depressed that they had not been as effective and had hoped going to see a new specialist would be a productive and positive step in improvement of my deteriorating condition, and instead I left feeling defeated, accused, and ashamed and not knowing why. I was not not there for any reason except in hopes that he might have new solutions that could bring me out of my slump, and instead left feeling hopeless and wondering what in the world I had done to precipitate such tremendous suspicion from someone that knew nothing about me. My records had already been requested, and he suggested my copies could be forged. I am not a doctor shopper or rx seeker, and only wanted help. Now I feel worse than before I went, and afraid to go see anyone else in fear they will act the same way. I am astounded that in my most vulnerable of moments (that had taken a lot of self pep talk and encouragement from support groups to get me to make the appt) he made me feel embarrassed and confused and frustrated and sad and wish I'd never even gone at all. Now I'm back to square one, and with shame on top of what was already a major hardship unresolved and with zero progress. I was supposed to go back, but there is no way on this earth I would go back and subject myself to that again. I'd rather be depressed and sleep my life away the way I have for years now than to feel that way (this way) ever again. I am amazed he has any patients at all. It was absolutely the WORST DR. APPT. I'VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR SUBJECT YOURSELF TO HIS ATROCIOUS BEDSIDE MANNER OR LACK OF CONCERN OR CARE FOR YOUR FEELINGS AS A PAITENT/PERSON WITH A DIFFICULT ILLNESS. HE DOES NOT CARE. IT IS EVIDENT.
Dr Meisel had a hard time making and maintaining eye contact. Mumbled and didn't seem engaged. Odd visit. We will see his associate for the next appointment.
He short and to the point. He does not draw things out by trying to over explain things. He answers all questions and always makes sure you have refills on all the medications he has you on.
He is an awesome doctor. He listens to what you have to say. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
very pleasant and informative
I recommend Dr. Meisel office to anyone seeking a Neurologist. Everyone there is friendly and attentive. The office is always clean and fresh. Minimum waiting. Dr Meisel takes time to explain things to you, he cares about your progress and concerns. He's informative and most of all polite.
My visit was very pleasant and quick
The office is incompetent for some reason they were unable to pull up my Medicare information and therefore I had to pay cash to see the Dr as I was in pain. He did not do any of the normal tests as I am a patient with Multiple Sclerosis. I will definately not retun and will find another Neurologist ASAP. I had the Medicare rep on the phone when I was there bit they chose to ignore them requesting a fax which Medicare doesnt do. I have already met my deductible for the year. This Dr spent no more than 10 minutes with me and I was completely unsatisified. As I have problems with my memory he did not understand that I didnt remember certain things. I left with Rx for 30 days & have already made an appt with a different Neurologist. I was and still am in pain and he has done nothing to help me. I dont like using pain meds, however I jave problems sleeping thru the night & he didnt even ask me to elaborate. Along with my depression & the sifficulties of moving to another state in April. Very dissapointed in this MD. Would never recommended him
First visit went well. Staff very friendly.
He was very professional and I will be going back the lady at the front office was very knowable about my insurance and very polite.
Occasionally, there is confusion between the pharmacy and the doctor's office. When that happens, it is the patient that suffers. He tries to protect against side effects, but doesn't seem to come up with a plan for the main problem. Other than these problems, he is always listening for what the patient wants.
I'm so pleased I chose Dr. Meisel as my new neurologist. My other neurologist never ran any tests and Dr. Meisel did 3. I thanked him yesterday for being so thorough and look forward to future visits with such a great neurologist!
I needed a neurologist closer to me. I searched online and was pleased with the information I found on Dr. Meisel. He had a nerve study done the day of my 1st appointment and scheduled me for an EEG and gave me orders to have blood work done to check my Ferritin levels which can be a cause for Restless Leg Syndrome. Dr. Meisel showed genuine concern for the drugs I've been prescribed and asked how I got to my appointment. He was surprised that I drove myself. He's doing tests that my 1st neurologist never did. Very thorough and made me very concerned for my safety. Thank you Dr. Meisel, Lauren B.
Office staff was nice. Dr was nice. Looking forward to next visit
Very thorough and informative
It was a nice visit. He is seeing to my problem right away.
This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. He spent less than 10 minutes with me, didn't listen to a word I said and left me with zero answers. On my way home, I even wondered if he may be autistic because of his distant, uncaring nature. He really seemed like he couldn't care less. Nothing he said during our short visit made any sense to what I was trying to tell him because he wasn't listening. I had to answer the same questions over again because he wasn't listening. He was generally loopy, flighty and un-grounded. I now understand why his office was empty save one other person.
His staff is terrible. They run you around in circles, and they relay messages to and from him incorrectly. Meisel doesn't offer any other way to contact him other than playing telephone with his staff. I couldn't even get a voicemail box...no email address... I've had to tell personal details about myself to the staff in order to get a simple question answered. The latest time I asked a q, they told me the wrong thing! I later saw him I person, and I found out that the answer to my question was very different than what I was told by the mediocre staff. Meisel is nice, but the wait to see him is unforgivably long. I had an appointment at 9:15 am today, and he didn't even walk into the building until 9:45 am. Other times I sit in the waiting room for nearly an hour after my appointment time to see him.
He was very friendly and seem to care about my health.
The staff was very friendly. Dr. Meisel was extremely patient and carefully listened to all my concerns about my health. He immediately scheduled tests and discussed my future treatment plans.
Very thorough, knowledgeable about my very specific disorder, and took extra care to make sure I had all refills of my meds.
He takes time with you and ask alot of questions.his staff is wonderful and no wait time.
Dr Meisel was very informative and Patient with me. I have struggled with Shingles Virus, and he made me feel very comfortable and lessened my anxiety about my condition. Thank you!!
Very professional and knowledgeable Neurologist. I am a new patient transferring from a local neurologist office that was closing down where I had been a patient for around twenty years. Doctor Meisel took the time review my extensive and complex medical records prior to seeing me. My medical situation has become seriously more complicated over the last 12 months and he was very understanding of my medical status/situation and accepted my case. Dr. Meisel is a very pleasant professional who took appropriate time to get to know me and my case. His office staff is also exceptionally pleasant, patient, courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Meisel to anyone seeking a new Neurologist and especially those coming from the Carrollton, GA area.
They were very helpful and even after my language barrier, he found a way to communicate and assist me.
He was very informing and detailed, he explained everything and ordered the proper test needed during my visit and I would highly recommend him.
Listened to my concerns and was willing to run tests and find the best solution for my issues.
The front desk staff was very nice. I was a little nervous and they made small talk which calmed my nerves. The Doctor seemed very knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns and wasn't too quick to just throw medication at the problem which was nice. I will definitely be following up with him. One of the assistants did a test in the office and told me what was going to happen step by step. It is always nice to know what to expect. Overall a very good first impression of the whole office!
Informative, asked questions, ran test and lab work to determine cause.
The visit was to the point. Being hearing impaired is a big problem when it comes to finding a doctor that I can communicate with. He spoke fairly well but it could have been better. I find most doctors aren't use to seeing a hearing impaired woman in her 40s.
Dr Jeremy Meisel is always concern with your symptoms and concerns and he go beyond the call of duty to help his patients. The staff listens to the concerns and they are friendly, helpful and they get the patients in real there isn't a long wait.
It went quite well plus I was able to get a scan they wanted right then, instead of having to come in another day.
The doctor is trying to resolve the issues relative to my headaches. Some minimal progress has been made but still a long way to go.
He was very straight forward, which is what I want. He answered all my questions. I have more since I got home but I will save them my visit was good.
I really enjoyed the environment. dr. Meisel is very understanding.
I like Dr. Meisel and he is very professional. My only complaint is that he is a little hard to understand.
The staff took did take care of my needs.
Human. Friendly. Through. Professional. I am happy.
I am a migraine patient and I find him very helpful and knowledgeable.
he seemed to know exactly what he was doing and he was not in a rush and was very thorough
He asked the right questions and ordered test, I think he is the doctor for me.
The visit was very thorough and simple. He's very open to suggestions for treatment, but will give you the best overall treatments that are needed.
Doc OK. Filled out paperwork online and still waited in lobby an hour to go to the back. Not good!!! My time is valuable to me but apparently not to this medical group!
The doctor is usually open to treatment suggestions I make and comes up with suggestions of his own. The only trouble is I have trouble understanding him when he talks. That maybe due to an ear infection I have in my right ear.
best advice and treatment. very professional.... thanks
Dr. Meisel was very attentive to my symptoms, and was able to steer me towards further treatment.
Interesting Personality. Not very open to alternative treatment. Very serious.
Very satisfied with service
A little hyper but most of all good
