I was running late due to traffic and called the office to see if I needed to reschedule. They told me to come on in and saw me immediately. I was in and out within 40 minutes. They sent my prescription to the pharmacy and I picked it up later that evening. My eyes are already feeling better! I couldn't have asked for any better of a visit and my eye care will now be going to the Witsett Vision from now on. Staff and doctors were extremely nice and made me feel like a customer! Something I did not get from previous experiences from other vision clinics.

Jesse B. McKey, M.D. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. McKey attended Hope College in Holland, MI where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry. He then attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, one of the top three ophthalmology training programs in the United States.
Throughout his career, Dr. McKey has had a strong commitment to improving eye care through research and education. While in medical school, Dr. McKey conducted research in the field of glaucoma and cataract surgery, and at Wills Eye Hospital he studied the diagnosis and treatment of intraocular infections. He continues this commitment today having given multiple lectures at health care conventions and hospitals, as well as participating in ongoing clinical trials. Dr. McKey also maintains a close relationship with the local community by volunteering his time at various community health fairs and service projects. Dr. McKey has professional memberships in the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Apart from work, Dr. McKey maintains an active lifestyle. He is an avid tennis player, playing varsity tennis and teaching lessons while in college, and is also a cycling enthusiast when time permits. Most importantly, Dr. McKey enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with his wife Simona and their son Austin.

Very beautiful office! As a physician myself, I was sort of jealous of the facility actually. The staff was great. Dr. McKey was quick to see me, which I appreciate because I had a short window of time to be seen. I will use him again should I have any more eye-related complaints.
