With the belief of mental health being equally as important as physical health, I decided to devote my time in achieving a doctorate degree in psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University. Additionally, I earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2011. I am a psychologist trained in clinical and forensic psychology. I have more than 10 years of clinical experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults.
My training and experience have allowed me to develop clinical expertise in treatment modalities that are evidence-based, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I value working with my community to improve awareness and acceptance of mental health and wellness in an effort to make our community stronger. I believe in the power of the mind and the power of psychotherapy. I subscribe to the belief that psychotherapy can improve troubling symptoms so that you can function better and increase both well-being and healing.
I am fluent in Tagalog, sensitive to cultural and socioeconomic differences, and believe every person should have access to mental health. I hope to promote wellness, love, respect, and healing with my clients so that we can all live our best lives.
