More about Dr. Jessica Wang, MD
Jessica was born and raised in Ithaca, NY, where she completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University before moving to New York City in 2006. She attended Weill Cornell Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
During her training, Jessica participated in research related to autism, maternal-child attachment, adolescent substance abuse, and hospital-based viral testing. She presented her findings at several national conferences and also co-authored two related publications in medical journals.
Before joining Hudson Heights Pediatrics, Jessica served the Chinese immigrant population at a private practice in downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn. She is excited to work with the diverse communities of Hudson Heights. Dr. Wang has also completed training to become a certified lactation counselor, and is happy to consult with parents about breastfeeding and lactation concerns.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys international travel, running, cycling, and exploring all 5 boroughs of NYC.
Vaccine Policy: In the interest of the safety of our patient base, we require all families to adhere to the minimum guidelines issued by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene regarding School Admission Immunization Requirements. We believe it is important for children and adults to get vaccinated to help protect communities by slowing or stopping disease outbreaks. While all patients must receive full vaccinations, any concerns can be discussed with a doctor. Our suggested vaccine schedule is available on our website.
