Dr. Jill Placek is a graduate of Northwestern University and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed her residency at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Placek was awarded the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists’s award for excellence in laparoscopy. She also received an award from St. Joseph hospital for outstanding collaborative practice with nursing and allied health professionals. Dr. Placek strives to provide excellent and compassionate patient-centered care while partnering with patients to address their healthcare needs.
Dr. Placek’s special areas of interest include holistic care before, during and after pregnancy, contraceptive care, adolescent gynecology, menopausal care, as well as minimally invasive surgical procedures including robotic-assisted and traditional laparoscopic techniques.

The office staff were very nice and helpful which was refreshing. Dr. Placek is very professional. She paid close attention to my questions and made me feel very comfortable. The appointment didn't feel rushed and/or impersonal which I really liked as well. I would highly recommend her!
