I was extremely disappointment by my experience with this doctor. Following my visit to the hospital due to right side chest wall elevation, sharp pain, shortness of breath/dizziness I was told to follow up with a pcp. I used Zocdoc to find a primary doctor and booked an appt based on the great reviews. Unfortunately, I found Dr. Zhao to be extremely impersonal and dismissive of my concerns. He made me feel like I was annoying him but I was just concerned about the drastic changes I was seeing in my health and wanted answers. After several follow ups it was apparent to me that I wasn’t going to get the help I needed from him and requested a referral for a new dr. The new Dr was compassionate and ordered the necessary tests I needed to address my symptoms and referred me to a pulmonologist. I had him complete my fml paperwork as I didn’t feel comfortable having Dr. Zhao complete them. I previously asked Dr. Zhao to give me a dr note for work and it was so vague and had multiple grammatical errors. I left Dr. Zhao’s office in tears frustrated that I wasn’t being taken seriously and that my symptoms were being brushed off. I was disappointed that he showed no genuine concern in helping me find a resolution. Dr. Zhao may need to hire a PA or another dr to handle the volume but it’s unacceptable to be dismissive when people’s heath is on the line. In the end I did find out something very serious is going on with my health. Thank God I asked for a referral and trusted my gut!

Excellent doctor. Accuracy of treatment and diagnosis always! But the front desk didn't do the scheduling very well. Some patient including myself waited longer than expected. Hope Dr Zhao find someone better at scheduling soon! Definitely recommend Dr Zhao, as his accuracy of treatment and diagnosis have saved my family lots of money and time!

Excelent doctor. Dr. Zhao was very patient and seemed to really try to diagnose the cause of my ailments. He seemed to look at the big picture, ask what was bothering me, perform a few tests and then take the time to thoroughly explain what the problem was. I would definetly be recomending Dr. Zhao to my friends and family.
I found my visit very quick and thorough. Dr. Zhou and his nurse were pleasant and ready to answer any questions. I trusted there assessment of my ailment and will be going back for further treatment.

Dr Zhao is a very kind and patient medical professional. He really took the time to get to know me and my medical history to understand and properly diagnose my symptoms. I've used him in several occasions. There's plenty of street parking and never any wait times to see him.

Dr. Zhao has just left for lunch with his intern and receptionist even though I had an appointment with him for the time he had left the office. I arrived on time. The other Dr. in the office had to call him back into the office and he still did not return for 20 minutes as he said he was in the middle of eating. Then, while we were having the appointment - he took a call from another patient, not even telling me what was wrong with me. An intern interrupted his call to ask if she could send my medicine to the pharmacy and he said he already had - he had me sitting there another 5 minutes for absolutely no reason. I should have been in and out as there were no other patients in the office but instead, the appointment was over an hour long. The isn't acceptable. He may be a good Dr., but he is extremely unprofessional. I will be changing my PCP.
I thought the doctor seemed really nice at first and he might be one of the rare ones that actually care about his patients. The first two times, he was really quick to get back to me about my results but then.. things quickly went sour. So I had to take another MRI and I called on that same day to see if I should wait for the results to be sent to him first before getting a referral to another specialist (since my friends said that it would be hard to book an appointment). They said the results aren't in yet and that I should wait first, and they'll call me back as soon as they get my results. So I trusted them (since I had no reason not to) and waited for more than a week. I decided to email the MRI place first since I truly believed the doctor would call me when they received my results. What I found out was, the MRI place actually faxed my results to my doctor on the same day (gave me precise time and date), the same day and BEFORE the time that I called them back. Okay, things happen, they might be busy or might have just forgotten, I could understand. So I decided to call them back the early next morning (Monday 10:30 am), and got the receptionist saying the doctor was currently with a patient and she would ask him to call me back when he is free. So I went on with my day and waited until I got out of my class in the late afternoon (4:30 pm) and still no call. So I called back since I was confused that the doctor could still be busy, just in case they might have forgotten, and got the receptionist said, the doctor was busy the whole day and didn't have time to call me, once he is free, she'll let him know. Okay, so I waited till night falls, and still no call. Nor the next day, nor the following 2 days.. (And I even checked this app and saw that the doctor actually had a lot of free slots..) So I decided to just make an appointment on Friday to see him myself about my results. I don't know if it's the doctor or the receptionist, but, I think I'm just really upset they dragged it out for so long and never thought that they are leaving their patients hanging, worrying their illnesses. Yeah, maybe I only have a very tiny brain tumor and I probably won't die from it right away, but at least have the decency to call me back or follow through with what you said you would do. I am actually a person and not just some trash that they can brush under the rug for the time being and think that I won't shows up again remembering what they did to me. Maybe they aren't really all that bad, but that episode just ruined my experience and my trust for the doctor..

He is also trained in orthopedic surgery and that has been very helpful for me, who suffers a lot of joint pain. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, doesn't try to push medications or extraneous treatments. Highly recommend.

After 2 years of not seeking or needing medical attention it was finally about time I chose a primary care physician through my insurance plan. Booked one on ZooDoc and came in the very next day. Wait time was shorter than expected. Signed paperwork as usual and got right down to business. Doctor did not rush me out, he took his time helping me with my issues. Blood test was quick and painless which ensured me I was definitely being taken care of by a seasoned professional. The entire visit went smoothly and comfortably. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

First of all, who can not appreciate a doctors office that is open on a Sunday. He was very nice and informative, as I suspected I was lied to by another doctors office for financial gain three tests, he trumped everything they said and told me I was perfectly fine. At no point did I feel he was in it for money rather than my health. Awesome doctors office

I had 2 visits, the wait is an hour on each visit. Reception is not professional, calling us in doctor's room while there's still patient in there. The sanitation is also questionable. The cover for vision test is not cleaned each time, not mentioning the equipment inside.
Very professional and nice!
Verified patient
He was very kind and informative. He made sure to listen to what I had to say and answered all my questions and concerns. I assigned him as my primary after searching around and I will surely keep him as well.
Verified patient
Friendly, patient, takes the time to help educate you on what he's treating you for. Warm yet professional, good bedside manner. I'm very very needlephobic and he was gentle and tried to calm me down and make me laugh which always helps. I also had the shortest wait in a Doctor's office I've ever had; I walked in the door and he saw me within 2 minutes!
Very nice doctor. Very informative
Dr. Zhao is like a doctor who is related to you or is a family friend. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, mind you, and no feeling like you are going to be in trouble if you tell him you want a different or new medication for your problems! He is very knowledgeable and sweet! When he took my blood for a test, I am terrified of blood so he asked if I was in pain (I always make a face when I am near the viscinity of needles.) And he showed concern about such a small procedure! Even if it was to see if he made a mistake. (And his needle pricking skills are very painless by the way! Such a relief.) Usually some who take my blood stab me like I am some piece of meat. (Ouch!) But I definitely recommend Dr. Zhao and will be coming back again!

Today's appointment with Dr. Zhao was my first visit to a doctor in over two years. I'm glad I found him through this site because even though I only went for a simple check up and to get some blood tests done, in the short time I was with him, I felt very comfortable. My first impressions of him are friendly, attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. ALSO, he was accommodating with his schedule and his office even has 1-2 private parking spots for patients.
