I had an amazing visit with Joannie Pompee, PA. At the age of 36, this was my first time seeing a Dermatologist. I had some skin concerns specifically for melanin-rich skin and Joannie was very patient and informative. Within a few minutes, she was able to diagnose the issue. I’m looking forward to visiting Joannie again as I know she will be thorough and professional. The staff were also very pleasant and the wait time was less than 15 minutes. Great experience all around!

I had a great first visit with Joannie pompee, PA-C. She is very approachable, professional, has excellent beside manor and very clearly knowledgeable about her specialty. I’ve seen Joannie several times and every visit has been excellent. The office is clean, modern, and welcoming, and I’ve never waited more than a few minutes. Even though I travel nearly an hour to see her, it’s worth it. For those of us with melanated skin, finding a provider who truly understands our needs is invaluable. While Joannie treats all patients, it’s especially meaningful that she is a woman of color—something very rare in Connecticut dermatology. Her bedside manner is wonderful: she listens, asks the right questions, and makes sure every concern is addressed. She’s efficient, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely caring—the kind of provider you wish you had in every area of healthcare.

Joannie Pompee was outstanding during my recent visit. She listened, and provided a clear explanation about what needed to be done about my issue. It was the best dermatological visit that I've ever had. I felt seen, heard, and respected.

I scheduled a video appointment, and it was a bit of a mess. No one in the office seemed to know about my appointment, and I could only seem to communicate with a service. Someone finally got on the phone with me, to let me know that someone would video chat with me soon. Once the medical assistant took my information at the beginning of my visit, the person I made the appointment with had to be summoned to the video chat. Once there, she was great! Clearly informed, honest, called my prescriptions in quickly, and reiterated important points with me.

Great beautiful office. The admin at the front was soooo nice ??, the assistant that roomed me was so nice and listened to everything I said prior the provider coming in.
