I am Dr. Jocelyn Slaughter, MD- the owner and operator of The Healthy Woman. We are committed to caring for women at every stage of life. I am a board certified Ob-Gyn located in Snellville, GA. Our office is design to pamper our patients, while providing excellent medical care.
I am a native of Chicago, Illinois, and I moved to Georgia
in 2008. I worked at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta,
GA for four years. I delivered over 300 babies there
and learned from the best physicians in Georgia. I love
delivering babies and I also have a passion for gynecologic
care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and primary
care.

Dr Jocelyn was amazing. I left another doctors office because I wasn’t 100% satisfied. Dr Jocelyn made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The other nurses and receptionists were extremely friendly and made me feel at home. The wait time was basically non existent, we went straight in to see the doctor. The ambiance isn’t very clinical and they provide pink robes which add a friendly touch and makes you feel less anxious about being at the doctors. Overall I’m extremely happy with Dr Jocelyn and her entire staff.

Excellent!! I was pleased with my overall service at this office. I have had a hard time finding an office that works for me. If I like the doctor, the office staff is unorganized and unreliable. If I like the staff, the doctors are unprofessional or rush through the appointment. At Healthy Women, the receptionist was friendly and attentive. Dr. Slaughter was warm, informative, took the time to listen to me, and showed concern for my individual needs. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my time here. I was seen in a reasonable amount of time and the whole visit felt organized and fluid. For my annual check-up, I was there for a total of about an hour. The whole office seemed new and was very clean, organized, and well-decorated. There are some small, thoughtful touches that show that they anticipate their patients' needs that I appreciated. This was my first visit, and I hope every time will be as great as this one.

I recently had to find a new gynecologist due to travel time and distance. I'm so happy I found Dr. Slaughter! She took time to get to know me and my medical history. I think she really cares and had time for me. Her entire staff was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be seeing her for yearly exams.
