A Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Fischer completed his surgical and urological residencies at New York Medical College, Valhalla, N.Y.
A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Fischer was a member of Alpha-Omega-Alpha, the national honor medical society. He also received the prestigious Sprague Carleton, M.D. award for the greatest interest and proficiency in urology.
Presently, Dr. Fischer is Chairman of the Prostate Cancer Institute at the Steeplechase Cancer Center. He is also President of the Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center.
