He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami, completed his neurology residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, and brings extensive expertise to his practice. His depth of knowledge in this focus area allows him to build effective treatment programs that better care for people experiencing cognitive decline and impairment due to neurodegenerative diseases. These diseases include Alzheimer's disease, the most common cause of dementia in older adults, as well as Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, mixed dementia, corticobasal degeneration (CBD), frontotemporal dementia (FTD), aphasia, and long COVID syndrome.
