I have been really pleased with Dr. Austin from the pre op CT scan , and blood work all the way through to the aftercare. He also got me into surgey a week after my CT report was done.

I’ve been in practice in Central Texas since 1995 and am proud of the care I’ve provided to thousands of patients of all ages in the Austin area. I believe experience is one of the most important characteristics in the make-up of a doctor. Our wait time was 10 min. The place wasn't too crowded. All the staff were nice and you could tell that Dr. Austin has a very friendly and familiar relationship with the staff.
After getting into the room, it didn't take long before Dr. Austin attended us. He was very straight to the point without being curt. Very friendly and professional.

I was really please to have Dr. Austin do my Fess and turbinate reduction surgery. I met with him twice before and I knew exactly what was going on. I got a surgical date right away. Surgery went off without a hitch. HIs follow ups were very informative and a little painful (debridement). He is a specialist and a surgeon. I have heard complaints that he is rude and runs behind. He is not rude but he is not the person to come to if you think you have an ear infection. Running behind at the downtown location every once in a while is not his fault and also to be expected from a booming population growth. I was glad to see that not one complaint was for services rendered. I have worked with doctors for years, I felt very comfortable with him doing my surgery. I love the online booking app the office has. I also really like his staff, they were very patient with me :). My insurance has him classified as the No. 1 ENT in Austin and told me they only have positive feedback. So that's my 2 cents.

I was in a lot of pain when entering office with what turned out to be a middle and inner ear infection. The doctor seen me right away and cleaned out my ear of disgusting build up and I felt instant relief. I was prescribed drops but could've cried I was so happy. Will always recommend this wonderful place to anyone!

I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Austin. The processes to set up an appointment and once I arrived at the office were seamless. The staff was very friendly. Dr. Austin listened well, took my concerns seriously, and spent time throughly explaining his impressions and plan. He also called me right away once he received my test results and let me know exactly what was going on. I will return to him for my ENT needs.

I had been suffering since Christmas with what my family doctor said was allergies, then said it might be a chronic sinusitis infection. After taking everything from antibiotic, Penicillin, Oral steroids, prescription nose spray and of course over the count stuff for over 5 months, nothing was working and it was just getting worse.
So I decided to find a ENT doctor, looked in the directory for someone in my that area. I made an appointment with Dr. John Austin and he ordered a MRI for my head. He found out I did not have allergies or sinus infection but "deviated septum" on the right side of my noise which was completely closed. And huge growth in my right nasal called "papiloma."
He called for immediate surgery. I really liked Dr. Austin, he was professional, listened to me and really nice to talk with. His office staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I also liked the surgical center Dr. Austin uses - very clean and everyone was so kind.
I could not be happier with the entire experience. I would recommend Dr. Austin and his staff to anyone looking for an ENT.
