More about Dr. John Cade, DPM
Dr. Cade has been in practice since 1987 and relocated to Las Vegas in 1997. His special interests are reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma and diabetic foot care and salvage. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). He is on active staff at MountainView Hospital and several local surgery centers. He is the Podiatry Section chair at MountainView Hospital.
Dr. Cade grew up in western Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, earning degrees in Biology and Anthropology. He then went to podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating as valedictorian. Dr. Cade moved to Seattle for a two year surgical residency at the highly regarded Waldo Residency Training Program at Fifth Avenue Hospital. After graduation, he practiced in Seattle for several years and was active in the teaching of students and residents and received several awards from them.
Dr. Cade has worked on various committees and has been a lecturer at several ACFAS meetings. He has also served on several committees with the ABFAS and was an oral examiner at their yearly board certification exams. He served a peer elected term on the ABFAS Board of Directors. Dr. Cade shares his knowledge and expertise by lecturing on various podiatry topics at local, state and national meetings. He was an advisor with the International Foot and Ankle Foundation for Education and Research (formerly the Northwest Podiatric Foundation for Education and Research).
Dr. Cade is married and has a son. He and his wife enjoy traveling, skiing and spending time with their son. In his free time, he tries to get to the gym and enjoys epic backpacking trips.
Office does not accept Personal Injury cases or Workers Comp cases. There is a $25 no show fee for new patients.
