I went to see Dr. Cottam I waited an hour before I was seen because I was told to get their 15 min early which I did, appt was @ 2:15 & I was called about 2:45 and was interviewed by a nurse assistant & was seen by dx @ 3:05. He was informative but the appointment felt a little rushed & he then diagnosed some of my skin issues & what course of action will be taken. For my first time in his office I thought he was very knowledgeable & I will be returning for further treatment

Talks really fast, is overwhelming, was a little invasive when checking my torso for marks. I wasn’t expecting him to lift my shirt up in the back and move my bra. It just was kind of rough and unexpected and a little shocking. He never said what he was doing or checking for. He also played this weird guessing game like 6 times. He would talk really fast then say something and expect me to finish his sentence. It was really obnoxious. He doesn’t believe in using anything other that Tretinoin and I’m not sure if that’s right or not….

Couldn’t even find the place as his name wasn’t on the door (Bradenton location). It looked like a converted office, there wasn’t even a patient chair in the room just folding chairs and a folding table. Not really even sure there was a sink in the room and he didn’t wear gloves. He looked at my face for one second before coming up with a diagnosis and barely listened to my concerns, just pushed wrinkle treatment that I’d stay on forever. He could barely even get a nurse in the room to take notes. Reception told me she’d send my prescription “by the end of the day” (my appointment was first thing in the morning) and a week later it’s never even been put through to my pharmacy. The person answering the phone sounds miserable. Wasted a copay as I will be seeing someone else.
