John Ivan Sutter, MD, has been serving patients as a pediatrician in Clifton, NJ since 1982. Dr. Sutter is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a past president of Affiliated Pediatric Associates, PA and served as Director of Pediatrics for General Hospital Center at Passaic in Passaic, NJ. He has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and New York Medical College.
Dr. Sutter earned his medical degree from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines and completed his pediatric residency at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He received his Masters of Science in Healthcare Policy and Management from New York Medical College. He has also served in advisory committees for many managed care, physician organizations, and as a consultant for electronic medical record systems.
Dr. Sutter’s practice philosophy is to understand the family and patient in an attempt to provide the most effective care possible, to avoid unnecessary medications and provide optimal health care screening at all aspects of life. His extensive knowledge base and exceptional clinical experience in the pediatrics ensures your child receives the best quality care that NuHeights is known for.
