I ended up seeing Dr. Martin as Dr. Monroe had fallen behind with patients. That's okay, she's excellent too and it's nice to know that they cover for each other and they spend time with you not rushing you out in order to be on time. It worked out beautifully, she answered all my questions and was very, very easy to talk to.

I was able to get an appointment with Dr Monroe the same day. He always takes as much time as is needed to listen to all of the issues and to determine the correct treatment. We moved to Arizona 2 years ago and chose Healthy Life on a whim and it was a great decision. I have seen almost everyone is his practice and I love them all. My husband and son are also patients at his office.

The doctor and staff were really friendly, but my appointment was for 1pm and I wasn't seen until after 2pm. I know schedules get backed up, but it wasn't a very good first impression. Hopefully the wait time isn't always so long because I would like to continue coming to this doctor.

My husband & I recently moved to Avondale from Iowa. We searched the internet to try & find a family doctor and came across Dr. Monroe. He had excellant reviews so we both booked an appt. First off it was so handy to be able to do so online. Next when we arrived for our appts the staff at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Our wait time to be called back was not long at all. It also did not take long for Dr. Monroe to come into see each of us. We found him to be a very pleasant doctor who did not make us feel rushed in the least little bit. He took plenty of time to learn details about us while he entered the info into the computer. He addressed all of our needs satisfactory. Very happy to have found him to be our new primary care physcian.

Make sure to confirm test details because they did not test me for something I specifically requested, and I had to remind two different people that I'd already had blood drawn almost 2 weeks prior. Other than that, they are very thorough and caring.

Dr. Monroe has been our Family doc for several years. We love his down to earth style. He is one of the only doctors that I know that listens, that gives credence to parental intuition, has no problem recommending specialists when his knowledge on an issue is exhausted. One of the main reasons we highly recommend him to our friends is b/c he did not give us a hard time b/c we decided on a delayed vaccine schedule. He's a great Dr. and seems to really care. His office staff and the nurse practitioner are great too.

Pleasant experience, everyone in the office was extremely friendly. Wait time was a little longer than I would have liked but I understand that it's difficult to estimate how long things will take. All together it was a great experience. The front desk ladies were chipper, the office was nicely decorated, and Dr. Monroe was a cool dude.

I am an existing patient of Dr. Monroe. The office staff has always been able to fit me in that day or within a day of me calling and needing to see the doctor. I was disappointed with the wait time of this visit because I waited over an hour to be taken back. I made my appointment online the night before and received a confirmation email. After I checked in at the office and waited for about 45 minutes I was told that my appointment was a "work-in". I don't know how that happened because when I scheduled online there was nothing that stated it was a "work-in". I thought I had a standing appointment. Although I was disappointed about scheduling of this appointment, I will continue to have Dr. Monroe as my physician. The professionalism and thoroughness that he provides his patients is top notched!!
