I was looking for a new GP, and Dr. Okemah passed his "audition" with flying colors. He was personable and made sure I understood the reasoning behind the actions he suggested, e.g. why/how weight isn't the only factor related to detecting Diabetes.

Education and preventive health care are very important to me as a doctor. One of my goals is to form good, trusting, respectful relationships with my patients, so I can assist my patients in making informed decisions about their health care.
I grew up in Puyallup and attended Washington State University for my undergraduate education. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, cycling and running with my wife and two sons.
