Dr. Robinton is a board-certified neurologist who is currently in practice in Montclair, New Jersey. He received his education at Princeton University and Cornell Medical School, and after his neurology residency, completed fellowship training in EMG and neuromuscular disease at Tufts New England Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, a status achieved by only a small percentage of practicing neurologists in New Jersey. He is board certified in EMG having successfully passed the examination given by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is additionally board certified in neurophysiology by the American Board of Medical Specialties and has been recertified by exam several times during the years. He practices at one of a handful of locations in New Jersey that is an accredited EMG facility. He is one of two practicing New Jersey neurologists who not only is accredited in EMG but also board certified in EMG as well as neurophysiology.
Dr. Robinton’s training, extensive experience, and ongoing continuing education activities provide a sound basis for clinical evaluation of patients in his office requiring EMG and nerve conduction studies. Because the performance of an EMG and nerve conduction study is a dynamic process, it is essential for the testing to be performed by highly-trained individuals skilled at problem solving who are capable of identifying an accurate diagnosis during a patient visit and EMG and nerve conduction study. An accurate diagnosis allows the treating physicians to best address the patient’s ongoing complaints and current clinical issues.
