I went to see Dr. Kurohara for the first time in March 2015 and he was great! Super nice and personable. Seemed to be a very calm and patient person as well. I've been looking for a new primary care doctor...and I think I found him.

He has been on the Board of Directors at Simi Valley Hospital and has been the Family Practice Chair and Simi Valley Hospital Chief of Staff. Dr Kurohara has been the medical director of the Free Clinic of Simi Valley since 1987.

I haven't been to a general physician in over a decade, so this was a pretty new experience for me. Everything was great. The wait time was next to nil, the nurses and doctor had fantastic bedside manner, and my issue was readily resolved. The dr and his nurse were great. But because I didn't print out all the medical history I put online in zoc doc , they didn't have a copy of it so I had to repeat it manually.
