Office Policy:
All new patients will have a consultation to discuss a treatment plan. If the treatment plan requires narcotic medication, the medication will be written at the follow up appointment only. No prescriptions will be written at the first visit.
Dr. Levin is a fellowship-trained pain management physician who has devoted his entire medical practice over the past 12 years to pain management in New York City. He has built a highly-regarded pain practice in mid-town Manhattan where he has treated thousands of patients with the latest and most effective techniques. He has now returned to the Washington, D.C. area, where he was born and raised, to continue providing outstanding pain management care.
Dr. Levin is recognized for his use of innovative non-surgical techniques to treat a variety of neck, back, and other extremity pain conditions. He is highly experienced in both traditional and alternative procedures to best tailor treatments to his patient's needs.
After graduating from Haverford College, Dr. Levin earned his medical degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine in Baltimore. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the John Hopkins School of Medicine/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Dr. Levin completed his fellowship in interventional pain medicine at Integrated Pain Management Medical Group in Northern California.

Mindy, the office manager, was SUPER pleasant and professional. My hearing impairment did not stop Dr. Levin and Mindy from communicating with me through notes. Both Mindy and Dr. Levin were very patient and answered all questions and concerns I had. I was especially impressed with their check-in system which was computerized. It made everything a lot easier. Upon arrival, I saw Dr. Levin within 5 minutes. With other doctor offices, the usual wait was between 15 to 20 minutes. Not with Dr. Levin! Highly recommended to see Dr. Levin. I am grateful I found Olney Pain Center through zocdoc.com. The staff made me feel welcomed. Thank you, Dr. Levin and Mindy!!

I was quite nervous and once I arrived in the waiting area I immediately began to relax because of the wonderful relaxing mood and the friendly informative Front Desk Manager. Once I was in the exam room with Dr. Levin, He answered any questions I had and gave me clear precise information. During my injection He was so amazing. Dr. Levin really took excellent care of me and he knew just how frightened I was. I would recommend Dr. Levin to anyone who is especially afraid of getting injections of this type. He is great.

My visit with Dr. Levin was frustrating and upsetting from the time I entered the procedure room. I was there for an epidural shot, but he was distracted the whole time - talking to his secretary about upcoming hotel reservations. He told me he was going to administer the procedure one way, but, when it was over, he did it a different way. During the procedure, I continued to ask him what he was doing so I would know what to expect, and he barely spoke to me. When it was over I wasn't sure he gave me the injection in the correct spot. I was shocked to see what he charged. I will not return to Dr. Levin.

I feel Dr. Levin is concerned about getting rid of the severe pain I am experiencing. He always wants to know my effects of the treatment I am receiving. I look forward to the end of my pain.

Dr. Levin was exxtremely compassionate and concerned about my situation. I was not interested in pharmaceuticals as a pain relief option and he was able to suggest other options that would provide me with potential pain control. This was my first visit, but I was very impressed with he and Mindy. The appointment was worth my wait.

Literally the best doctor I've ever been too. I'm 25 years old and have had chronic back pain for about 5 years and every doctor I've been to just wants to prescribe me narcotics and push me off to the side! Not this doctor. He was very concerned and compassionate about my situation and promised me he would help me get off the narcotics and live pain free!!! He even scheduled me steroid injections within 2 days of my visit!! That's something my last doctor never did in 4 years! Highly recommend Dr. Levin, in fact I already have to some of my family members! Lol

Dr Levin was recommended to me by my primary care Dr. I had my second visit today and received spinal injections. He is very interested in my case and that means a lot to me. He is professional but yet still seems like a friend! The young lady at the front desk is also a welcoming face who always has a smile on her face. Dr. Levin's office runs like a fine swiss watch. From the moment I arrived I was in the process of "seeing the doctor". No time to even appreciate the magazines in the waiting room. Dr. Levin couldn't be a nicer guy. It is obvious that the patient is the most important aspect of his practice. He explains all aspects of his plan for your care and just makes you glad that you chose him to manage your care. He strikes me as the kind of person you would wish to have as a neighbor. If you are in the market for a doctor in his specialty I would highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Levine and his staff are genuinely concerned with their patients well being. They offer a variety of pain management therapies and are on top of working with insurances and getting you in so that you are able to function day to day without being in constant pain. Dr. Levin preformed a lumbar epidural injection on me and I was very satisfied with not only his bedside manner and professionalism but also with his knowledge of his specialty. I know that I am in good hands when I go to his practice.
